The Service
What Golf Injury Assessment Involves
Kam assesses the painful area, the movement feeding it, and how it shows up in your swing, so the treatment targets the cause rather than just the site.
Most golf injuries are overuse injuries. Find the source and you fix it for good, rather than chasing the pain around your body.
What a Golf Injury Assessment Involves
The session starts with your history, then a hands-on physical assessment and a look at how the injury relates to your swing.
- A full history of the injury and your golf
- Physical assessment of the painful area and the chain around it
- A clear diagnosis explained in plain language
- Hands-on treatment and targeted exercise to start settling it
- A plan for the sessions ahead and what to do between them

Common Golf Injuries Kam Assesses
Kam assesses the full range of golf injuries, from the lower back to the elbow, wrist, shoulder, hip and knee.
- Lower back pain from limited hip and thoracic rotation
- Golfer's elbow and tennis elbow from grip load and mechanics
- Wrist and hand pain, common in the lead hand at impact
- Shoulder pain through the backswing and follow-through
- Hip and knee pain from the way you load and clear the shot
Not sure what is wrong?
You do not need a diagnosis before you come in. Working out exactly what is going on is the first job of the assessment.
Getting You Back Playing
Wherever possible, Kam keeps you playing while you rehab, adjusting your load rather than shutting you down completely.
The goal is not just a pain-free week. It is a body that holds up over 18 holes and a full season.

In His Own Words
A Word From Justin Rose
Hi everybody, Justin Rose here. I'm really excited to hear that you have the opportunity to work with Kam in this developmental phase of your career.
Obviously that is my advice, you know, get stuck in, work hard. The earlier you can get that strength and conditioning base, the more you understand the recovery protocols, they'll kind of continue to stand you in good stead as you continue to push hard and work really hard and create that resilience to sort of have that work ethic but feel fantastic in your mind and your body.
So Kam has a wealth of knowledge and expertise and he's certainly helped guide me through stages of my career, back in the day where I was obviously pushing to get fitter, stronger, but also navigating a few little injuries along the way. So Kam was a wonderful resource for me, as I hope he will be for you.
So enjoy the journey. Above all, work hard, have the passion for it and get stuck in. And I wish you all the very best of luck. I'm very happy that you're in capable hands with Kam. So all the best to you all. Take care.

How It Works
Every golfer gets a clear plan, not just a treatment. Here is how Kam works with you.

A thorough physical assessment of the painful area, the movement feeding it, and how it shows up in your swing. Nothing is left to guesswork.
- 02
Diagnose
A clear explanation of what is going on, why it happened, and exactly what it will take to fix it. In plain language, not jargon.
- 03
Treat
Hands-on work and targeted exercise to settle your symptoms and restore the movement you have lost.
- 04
Rebuild
Progressive loading so the tissue can handle golf again, and your body can produce more clubhead speed.
- 05
Return to Play
A graded return to practice and play, so you come back to the course confident and swinging freely, not tentative.

The Difference
Why Choose Physio Fore Golf?
A golf-specific physio sees what a general clinic misses, because the swing loads the body like no other sport. That is the whole point of Physio Fore Golf.
Frequently Asked Questions
How much is a golf injury assessment?
An assessment is $160 for 45 minutes, which includes an initial assessment plus ongoing treatment of the same condition. Follow-up consults are $125 for 30 minutes.
Do I need a referral?
No referral is needed to book. If you are claiming through certain insurers or schemes a referral may help, so check with your provider first.
Can I keep playing golf while I rehab?
Often yes, in a modified way. Part of the assessment is working out how much load your body can safely handle right now.
Will I need a scan?
Usually not. Most golf injuries can be diagnosed and managed from a thorough physical assessment, and Kam will advise if imaging is genuinely needed.
